"Hunting" for some Easter Eggs

This afternoon we went to an easter egg hunt. It was very interesting to watch the girls and see how they are similar and so very different. Sadie was ready to go. Claire was not so interested. Could be she is not quite old enough to understand it, but also is just her personality. She really likes to do her own thing. She would see the egg, slowly bend down and pick it up, look at for a few seconds and they hand it to me. Just not concerned about the hundred or so other kids running around and the fact that the whole thing was over in about 2 minutes. She picked up 2 eggs and I put 2 others in her basket. She was good with that and just liked hanging out in the grass. Sadie was all about the eggs, or really what was inside them. She was very excited to find Starbursts, which is one of her favorites. We also went to ride the train and got some cotton candy. Claire was still a little young for the train, but she really liked just hanging out in the stroller and watching all the people. We didn't stay too long, it was quite warm today, but the girls had a good time.

Here's Sadie, ready to "hunt" for some eggs!

And Clarie...studying her egg carefully.

Cute fountain with floating plastic eggs. Sadie thought this was very cool!

My Sweet Claire

I took this picture of Claire this afternoon while we were playing outside. It sums up our sweet Claire, Claire (that's what we call her for some reason) perfectly. We are having so much fun with her right now. She loves to say Hi and Bye. She also has perfected, "Uh, Oh." When I say perfected, I mean perfected. Probably because we hear it many times each day. Sadie was having a "tough time" at the store over the weekend and was as we say, "Not being very sweet." Gabe was walking out with her and I had Claire. She looked at me and said, "Uh-Oh!" She also likes to drop food or drop her cup while she's eating and say, "Uh-Oh." Yesterday I went in to get her up in the morning and she looked up at me and said, "Uh-oh." Maybe she just likes to say it. I don't know, but it is pretty cute. She has also learned yes and no. She doesn't say them, she just nods her head. She really gets into it. No is definitely no and when she says yes, her whole body says yes. I just love it. One of things I am loving the most is that she loves her big sister. They will play together, laugh together, SCREAM together (which is a little more than I can take some days,) but so sweet too. One screams and the other screams. Then one screams and the other screams. That became an outside game very quickly. They also love to give each other a hug and a kiss before we leave in the mornings. I am so looking forward to them being in the same daycare next school year. I love watching them together. There's just a few of the things I love about our Claire. We're having so much fun!
