Eenie, meenie

So I am doing a really quick post to remember something sweet that Sadie was saying. I know if I don't put it in now, I will not get to it and it will be lost.

Sadie has been saying the little Eenie, Meenie, Mienie, Moe saying with a few 4 year old changes that Claire has picked up on too. They say,
"Eenie, Meenie, Ketchup, Moe
I dee Tiger I dee toe
If he alla, let he o,
Eenie, Meenie, Ketchup Moe. "

Just tonight she started saying, "Eenie, Meenie, Mienie, Moe" and it made me sad. I'm not doing so well with her growing up.

Let the recitals begin...

We had the first of the Spring recitals this afternoon. Violin was first, with a school program and ballet to follow in the next couple weeks. Sadie did great! She has progressed to playing her first Twinkle variation. Since she is learning the Suzuki method, she learns different rhythms and then puts them together. (Actually, I could say that we are all learning the Suzuki method with the practicing and practicing that we do.) We have several different rhythms that we practice and Claire has even learned a few songs. (Singing, not playing.) Anyway, Sadie will learn different variations of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star before she learns it the way we all know it. This variation is with the rhythm "I'm A Big Red A-pple" or "Pea-nut-Bu-tter-jel-ly." Just thought I would include that so you can sing along with the video if you want. We've been singing it for weeks at our house!

Easter with Nana and Big Daddy

I can't believe it has been a month since I have blogged. Time is flying and the girls are growing. We had a great Easter weekend last weekend and loved having Nana and Big Daddy here to visit. We did a lot of relaxing and the girls played and played. We were able to take a few pictures after lunch. Thanks again Nana for cute, cute dresses.
Not wanting to look up at the sun, and the girls were ready for naps, but we still snapped a picture.
Claire once again was attached to Big Daddy.
A few pictures in the front yard.
More candy, please!!!!!!!!
The perfect Claire face. So much going on in her little head.
Sadie saying, "Cheese!" Like I said, they are growing up.
