Lazy Saturday!

We just love our Saturdays when we can be lazy. We did our usual run and breakfast and then ran some errands. It was so nice to hang out at the house and just play around with Sadie. Here are some pictures from our lazy day!

We tried on a hat we found. She was modeling for us! Actually she was trying to take it off. She does not really like to leave things on her head or bows in her hair. We are working on that because Mama loves bows!

Our friend, Rachel, bought Sadie a "cowboy yo-yo" at the fair this week. It is actually a water balloon with a rubber band attached, but she LOVES it. Almost as much as she loves the remote control ,which we don't let her have, so she is very excited when she gets to play with the

"yo-yo."

We tried pig tails for the first time this afternoon too! Her daddy thinks they are too cute! I tend to agree! They are a little crooked, but I guess I'll get better with practice!

A trip to the fair!

This week the fair is in town so last night we went with our friends Kris and Rachel and their son, Lincoln. He is five days older than Sadie so they are great friends. (At least we tell them they are!) It was Sadie's first time at the fair. She seemed to have a good time, but it was really close to her bedtime so she was kind of tired. Of course Gabe had to try lots of different foods. I think we ended up with a foot long corn dog, sweet potato fries, and a fried peach pie. It was yummy! Sadie got her first taste of fair food and thought it was great!

I finally did it!!!

After several months of prodding, actually it has probably been years, I have finally started a blog. I'm hoping that I will be able to record lots of memories and share them with family and friends. My plan is to go back and blog about some memories in the past since Sadie will be a year old next month. I have a little catching up to do. We'll see how it goes. For today, I think I will attempt to figure out how to post some pictures of my family!
