So Sweet!

2 months!

Claire is 2 months old today! What a sweet girl she is. She is just starting to smile and "talk" to us. She is such a blessing. It's funny to me how so many people have said the girls look so much alike, but when you look at the pictures they look so different.

Tough Girl

Claire had her 2 month check up today and first shots. She weighs 10.1 lbs and is 22.5 in. long. All reports from the doctor were good. She is looking great.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day yesterday. We kind of had a Valentine's weekend. We swapped babysitting with Kris and Rachel so we could all go out. We kept Lincoln on Saturday night and they kept the girls on Sunday night and Sadie and Lincoln got two Valentine dates. Gabe was super sweet as usual and got the girls Valentine balloons and me some flowers. I just love him more and more. Enjoy the pictures.

A Dream is a Wish...

One of the things I love about being a mother is when you get one of those moments when you really see your child so surprised and happy. Last night we took Sadie to see Disney Live! Gabe and I always say that we aren't going to get our hopes up that she will really like something because you just never know. She has gotten some toys that we thought she was going to go crazy over and she didn't, but this was one time when we got it right. Les and Jenny kept Claire for us so we could both go. We had told Sadie that we were going to go see Minnie Mouse the day before and so we heard over and over, "I need see Minnie Nouse." Finally we got there and I think she was a little shocked at first, but quickly got into it. By the time Tigger came out, she was up and dancing or should I say bouncing. Gabe and I just watched her most of the time and tried to keep her from falling into the row in front of us. We really had a great time and I think she enjoyed it too!

Ok really, How cute is that? And that's about the only cute picture I got. I took about 50 (at least that's what Gabe said), but they just weren't turning out very good.

We had a first last week. Sadie actually asked to hold Claire. Actually, she said, "I need hold baby." This is the first time she has "asked." We tried a couple times, but she was a little scared and didn't want to. I guess this means she is making some progress in adjusting to a new sister. I've noticed that she is becoming quite protective too. It is so sweet to watch her. Whenever Claire starts crying Sadie says,"Come on Mama" and wants to go check on her. She also will go up to her bed and say, "Stop crying baby." I am so excited to see them grow up together.
